The Group

The group was founded by Prof. Christoph Müller in 2010. During the past years the team has been constantly growing and at this moment consists of more than 20 researchers.

Research in the Laboratory of Energy Science and Engineering is aimed at applying a fundamental understanding gained from laboratory-scale experiments, together with appropriate mathematical modelling to address the important challenge to produce fuels, electricity and chemicals in efficient and sustainable ways.

Our research program is funded primarily by ETH Zurich, the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Swiss Office of Energy and Alstom
